Arrival procedure

On arrival, please make sure you are in the car you made your booking with.

As you approach the entry barrier, a camera will read your number plate and the barrier will rise so please don't take a ticket. If this doesn't happen, press the assistance button for help.

You can walk to the terminal from the car park in 3-5 minutes.

Departure procedure

On your return, when leaving the car park please drive up to the exit barrier where the camera will read your number plate and the barrier will rise. If you have any problems, please press the assistance button for help.

Security

The car park is regularly patrolled and protected by CCTV, as well as entry and exit barriers.

Disabled facilities

Long Stay Car Park has no disabled facilities; therefore, we recommend taking a look at the Meet and Greet which is more accessible for those with reduced mobility.

Additional information

You choose your space, park your car and keep your keys.

If you're delayed coming back, you'll need to pay for the extra parking before you go at the car park's normal rate. The amount will be based on the calculated difference tracked by the cameras at the car park and will display on the screen by the exit barrier. This is more expensive than the price you pay when you book in advance.

If you come back early, unfortunately you won't be given a refund for the time you've not used.

Long Stay Car Park does not accept trailers.

The car park service desk is located in the Meet and Greet car park at the Priority reception. If you need any help on the day, please make your way to the desk or call 01446712604 to speak to a member of the team.

Long Stay Non-Flexible

Because this is a special low-price package, once you've made your booking, you can't change it, and you won't be able to get a refund if you need to cancel.

My experience wasn’t good. The signage to Cardiff Long Stay was very poor. We even landed up in the wrong car park and had to pay 13.50 to get out. I’m disabled and no sign of Disabled spaces. I won’t be flying from Cardiff again.

Car park surface is poor. Barrier to exit did not work first time, had to approach a second barrier to exit.

I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Somewhat nervous before hand about relying on a "number plate recognition system" to gain access to car park-but it worked perfectly.

Good to be able to park so close to the airport and at a reasonable charge. However, it was hammering down with rain when we arrived and it would have been nice to have a bus take us the five minutes or so to the terminal, rather than us getting soaked.
