Directions

From the north: Leave the M1 at junction 24 and take the fourth exit at the roundabout onto Ashby Road. Take the third exit at the next roundabout, staying on Ashby Road.

From the south: Leave the motorway at junction 23a and take the second exit at the roundabout onto the Ashby Road.

Then: Go straight on at the next roundabout. Turn right when you see a sign for the Thistle Hotel. Take the first exit at the roundabout onto Viscount Road. Go straight on at the next roundabout, then turn left onto Ambassador Road.

Arrival procedure

Please check your booking confirmation for details.

On arrival at the car park, please drive up to the entry barrier and wait for the machine to read your number plate. This can take up to a minute. The barrier will then open so you can drive in and park.

If nothing happens after a minute, please press the button marked "assistance" so you can speak to a member of staff through the intercom. They'll ask you to confirm your details.

Please don't insert your credit or debit card into the barrier at any point or you will be charged again for your parking. Also, don't press the ticket button, as this will stop you being able to gain entry.

Once you've parked, just walk to the terminal, following the signs. It will take about 5-7 minutes.

Return procedure

Please check your booking confirmation for details.

On your return, please walk back to the car park, collect your car and drive to the exit barrier. It will lift to let you out (this can take up to a minute) but if it doesn't, please press the button marked "assistance" and a member of staff will let you out.

Please don't insert your credit or debit card into the barrier at any point or you will be charged again for your parking.

Security

The car park is patrolled every hour, 24 hours a day by security guards and has 24-hour CCTV, entry and exit barriers, a fence and lighting at night. It has been awarded the Park Mark, a security award for car parks which is accredited by the police.

Additional information

This car park is a self-park facility where you park your own vehicle and retain your keys.

The car park does not allow trailers.

Disabled facilities

The car park has disabled bays and buses with wheelchair access. For Short Stay 1 and 4, you can drop your disabled passengers off at the Short Stay car park. You can stop there for 30 minutes for free. Then you go and park in Short Stay 3.
