5 stars The directions on the internet for drop off and collection are different to what you get told at the time. If you don’t know the airport then it’s extremely confusing and difficult to find where to drop your car off. After calling when we were 30 mins away, as instructed, the person we spoke to told us a completely different place to meet in difficult to understand English which threw us into confusion. In the end we followed the directions given on their website only to be told that we were in the wrong place and we needed to move. Easier said than done when you have no idea where you are or how to get to where they’re telling you! Eventually the driver came to meet us. Collection was the same, as we got lost when dropping the car off the driver had to come find us so when we collected the car we still didn’t know where we should meet him. All they said was ‘at departures gate 21!’ FYI, there is no such thing as a gate 21 at departures! We found this out after wandering round with three tired children. It was only by chance that my partner noticed a tiny red sign with number 20 written on the side of a pillar. Apparently, It is a very poorly signposted fire assembly point! Not an actual airport gate. They really need to change the drop off and collection procedure or clarify and simplify the directions given and have it consistent with the website instructions too. When we got the car back, I’m not sure what it had been used for or where it had been parked, but the dashboard was covered in a thick grimy layer of dust. I could tell it had been parked under fir trees/evergreens as it was covered in pine needles and the windscreen was dirty but I have no idea how so much dust could have accumulated inside over two weeks if it had just been parked up?!?? Overall a much more complicated experience than necessary but like everything, you get what you pay for. Can’t fault their attempts at help. The phOne was always answered promptly (but hard to understand with their strong accents) and they were polite and friendly. Timing was also good. We weren’t left hanging around for ages, and despite the hiccups I would probably use them again.
