London City Purple Parking Meet and Greet

The car park offers a No Wait Guarantee, which means they will refund you 50% if you have to wait longer than 10 minutes at either your arrival or return to the airport. You'll be required to pay an exit fee.

Directions

Leave the M25 at junction 30 and take the A13 heading into London. After crossing the bridge, take the left lane to leave the road following signs for the airport and docks. Take the first exit from the roundabout onto the A1020 Royal Docks Road, staying in the middle lane. At the next roundabout, take the second exit towards Woolwich Manor Way. Follow the road and, when you see the Docklands Light Railway overhead, take a right onto Hartmann Road, signposted for the airport. From here you can follow signs for the on-site (formerly Long Stay) car park.

Arrival procedure

On arrival, please call the car park on the number in your confirmation around 20 minutes before you arrive at the airport to let them know you're on your way. Once you're at London City airport, please drive to the on-site car park (formerly Long Stay). There you'll come to a barrier so take a ticket to get in, drive through and park your car in a space. A uniformed driver will meet you and you'll need to give them your keys and the ticket from the barrier. You can then walk the short distance to check-in.

Return procedure

On your return, please call the car park on the number on your confirmation as soon as you've landed to arrange picking up your car. Once you've collected your luggage, walk to the on-site car park again where you'll be met by a driver with your car. You’ll also be given a ticket so you can exit the car park, but you’ll need to pay an exit fee to leave: £3.20 if your car leaves within 10 minutes of it arriving at the car park, or £7.50 if your car leaves within 29 minutes of arriving at the car park.

Security

The car park has barriers and 24-hour patrols. It holds the Park Mark award for security.

Disabled facilities

This service is suitable for disabled customers as there is no need for a transfer bus.

Additional information

The following exit fees apply:
On your return you’ll be required to pay an exit fee to leave the car park. If your car leaves within 10 minutes of it arriving at the car park, the fee is £3.50.
If your car leaves within 30 minutes of arriving at the car park, you’ll be required to pay an exit fee of £8.

The car park is open from 5am to 10pm Monday - Friday; from 5am to 1pm on Saturday and from 11am to 10pm on Sunday. You won't be able to drop off your car outside these times.

You'll need to arrive as close to your booked time as possible. In extreme cases, if you're more than 20 minutes late, you may be charged a £30 waiting fee. Therefore, it’s important that you call the car park 20 minutes before you arrive at the airport to avoid any unnecessary charges.

The car park only accepts vehicles no more than 2 metres high and 2.5 metres wide.

Please make sure you take all your valuables out of your car before you leave, as the car park can't be held responsible for anything left behind.

You need to make sure your car is in legal roadworthy condition with full insurance, road tax and MOT; otherwise, you may be liable for any extra costs incurred by the car park.

When you get back, you should show your copy of the booking confirmation ticket and pay any supplementary parking charges, otherwise, the car park may not be able to return your vehicle to you. Any damage to your vehicle must be reported before you leave.

No Wait Guarantee

The car park will refund you 50% if you have to wait longer than 10 minutes at either your arrival or return to the airport. If you have to wait for both, you'll be refunded in full.
