Luton Priority Parking Meet and Greet
“ One of my party travelling had mobility issues it is an excellent alternative, as it reduces that time taken to park vehicle and then travel to the terminal. If you have anybody travelling with limited mobility then this is the option for you as it so easy to use.” - Chris Russell
Directions
Drive straight to the terminal. Follow the signs for the Terminal Car Park 1 and you will find Priority Parking on Level 2.
Arrival procedure
On arrival, please drive to Level 2 and follow the road to the Priority Parking entrance. Drive up to the barrier and it will read your number plate and lift automatically. If there are any issues, please press the intercom button for assistance. You will be directed to the Priority Parking reception, where you will be met by a member of staff who will talk you through the admission procedure. You will have to hand over your keys. From there the terminal is around 3 minutes' walk away.
Please note that any early or late arrivals may experience a short delay in the admission procedure.
Return procedure
On your return, please make your way to the Priority Parking reception on Level 2 where your vehicle will be returned to you. A member of staff will hand you your keys.
If you're going to be returning more than a day early or late, please call the car park on 07809 492 351.
If you're going to be more than a day early or late in returning, please call the car park on 07809 492 351.
Security
The car park has entry and exit barriers, perimeter fencing and regular patrols.
Disabled facilities
The car park is suitable for disabled passengers as transfer buses are not required.
Additional information
The Terminal Car Park 1, where Priority Parking is located, has a height restriction of 2.1 metres. The car park cannot accept large vehicles, for example SUVs with roof racks.
You need to arrive at the time you have booked as the car park can only take a certain number of arrivals and departures at a given time due to space. If you can't book the time you want, you might need to choose an earlier or later slot.
Your car will normally be parked in the Terminal Car Park 1. Occasionally it will be in the Mid Term or Long Term car park instead.
Booking confirmations can be printed or shown on your phone or device.
If you have an electric vehicle and need a charging point, there are 5 Tesla charge points and 5 type 2 tethered points in the Terminal Car Park 1. They are free to use, but you'll have to pay for your time in the car park.
Please note that due to the ongoing redevelopment works at Luton airport, travel around the airport may take longer than normal. We'd recommend you allow an extra hour to get to the airport particularly at peak times. Peak travel times for Luton airport are all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday and between 4am and 9am, 1pm and 3pm and 5pm and 7pm on other days.
My Wife uses this airport quite frequently and opts for priority parking. However she finds on her return more than the average car settings you'd expect changed. Including someone turning on the seat heaters!!!
Strangely enough when complaining the results of their investigation finds in favour of their staff with an 'off the shelf' response.
My advice don't bother as their service is piss poor compared with other airports and you might as well save your cash for your holiday.
If you do opt for priority parking, video/ photo your settings so you have evidence to shove in their face.
Enjoy

Excellent service. No hiccups. Polite and helpful staff. Luton airport is a mess but the priority parking section was an oasis of tranquility. Car collected with no fuss and was waiting for us on return. Thank you.

As another review mentions when you pick the key up in the office, a form is given to sign before you have even seen your car. My car was filthy, covered in thick dust, it was 10.30 pm and dark so I saw nothing amiss. On getting the car cleaned today (2 days later) a deep scratch and scuffing to the front have been revealed which were nicely hidden by the dust. This car park is extremely convenient but check, and double check your car, as damage might be hidden when you pick it up.
