Directions

Leave the M1 at junction 10. At the large motorway roundabout, take the third exit if you're coming from the south and the first exit if you're coming from the north onto the A1081 Airport Way. Shortly after, you'll come to a roundabout and you'll need to take the second exit and keep on the A1081. You'll need to take the slip road on the left to keep on the correct road. After a while, you'll arrive at yet another roundabout and you'll need to take the third exit and keep on Airport Way. Follow the signs for Terminal Car Park 1. You'll see signs for Terminal Car Park 2 and the entrance to Terminal Car Park 2 is first, so make sure you continue along the road to the Terminal Car Park 1 entrance. Continue to Level 3 of the Terminal Car Park 1 where you will be met by a member of staff.

Arrival procedure

On arrival, please call Airparks to let them know when you’re about 30 minutes away from the airport. When you reach the airport, please follow signs for the Terminal Car Park 1. Then take a ticket from the barrier and make your way to the pick up point/meet and greet area, where you will be met by one of the chauffeurs. Your driver will be wearing an Airparks hi-vis jacket and carrying ID. They'll take your ticket and keys and photograph your car before moving it to their secured car park while you take the 5-minute covered walk to check-in.

Return procedure

On your return, please collect your luggage in arrivals and give the car park a call to let them know you're ready for your car. Then follow signs for Terminal Car Park 1 and head to where you dropped off your car. It'll be waiting for you at the pick up point/meet and greet area. The car park will give you a ticket which allows you to exit the car park.

Please make sure you're at the car park no longer than 10 minutes after your call otherwise you may need to pay to exit the car park.

Security

The car park has been awarded the Park Mark security award. It's patrolled by security staff 24 hours a day and offers CCTV, entry and exit barriers, a fence and floodlighting.

Disabled facilities

This service is suitable for disabled customers as there is no need for a shuttle bus.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Due to the ongoing redevelopment works at Luton airport, travel around the airport may take longer than normal. We'd recommend that you allow an extra hour to get to the airport particularly at peak times. Peak travel times for Luton airport are all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday and between 4am and 9am, 1pm and 3pm and 5pm and 7pm on other days.

Please be aware the Terminal Car Park 1 has a height restriction of 2.1 metres.

The airport's Terminal Car Park 1 cannot fit vehicles taller than 7 feet, minibuses, high-sided vehicles, mobile homes, lorries, caravans or trailers. Very large vehicles and minibuses may be refused if prior arrangements are not made. If your car is bigger than a standard size parking bay (2.4m wide x 4.8m long), it must be pre-arranged with ShortRun before your arrival date and you will need to pay extra charges.

Please be aware that due to time restrictions in the car park, you must be at the collection point within 10 minutes of your schedules arrival time. Otherwise you may incur additional charges payable at the exit barrier.

This parking is not suitable for vehicles with a taxi license plate.
