Airparks Newcastle

This car park (formerly known as Q-Park Newcastle Bellair) is an off-site facility just a mile and a half from the terminal building. The journey by free transfer bus only takes 4 minutes and you will usually have to wait just 5 to 10 minutes for a bus. Extra time though should be allowed in rush hour traffic. The car park is fully secure and has been awarded the Park Mark. Keys must be left with the attendant and large items such as surf boards cannot be accepted.

Directions

From the A1:
Leave the A1 at the exit for the A696 towards Jedburgh and the airport.
Leave the A696 at the second exit, which is signposted Throckley and Woolsington. At the roundabout take the third exit, signposted Woolsington and Park and Ride. Go straight on at the next roundabout and Airparks will be on your right.

From the A696 southbound:
After you've passed the exit for the airport, leave the A696 at the exit for Throckley and Woolsington. At the roundabout take the first exit, signposted Woolsington and Park and Ride. Airparks will be on your right.

If you are using a sat nav, the postcode is NE13 8DN. You should enter the full address.

Arrival procedure

You'll need to check your car in at reception and leave your keys with them, as your car will be parked for you. You should bring a copy of your booking confirmation to the car park. Once you've checked in, make your way to the covered waiting area where the transfer bus will meet you.

Just give Airparks a call on 0191 286 9899 and the shuttle bus will come and pick you up. There's a free phone in the terminal, on the central pillar opposite domestic arrivals.

If you're going to come back early, please let Airparks know, if you can.

Security

This car park has been awarded the Park Mark for safer parking. Park Mark awarded parking areas are run by responsible operators who are concerned with your safety and the safety of your vehicle.

Insurance

Parking is always at the vehicle owner's own risk.

Disabled facilities

The reception and toilets at Airparks Newcastle are accessible to disabled customers. Although the transfer buses are not wheelchair accessible, you will be able to take your wheelchair on the bus - and the driver will be happy to help you get on and off. Please let us know as soon as possible if you need assistance.

Additional information

We recommend that you give yourself 35 to 45 minutes to drop your car off and transfer to the airport.

Airparks Newcastle has ladies' and men's loos as well as disabled toilets.

If you come back to a flat battery, the car park will be happy to jump start your car, free of charge.

Bikes, surfboards, canoes and other large objects that won't fit into the luggage racks can't be carried on Airparks buses. If you are bringing large items with you, we suggest you drop them off at the airport before you park your car. Remember to check with your airline that you will be able to take them on the plane.

Airparks cannot accept any vehicle with a taxi licence plate - these can only be driven by the licence holder.

This car park cannot accept bookings for minibuses, high-sided vehicles, mobile homes, lorries, caravans or trailers, even if multiple spaces are booked. There is a maximum height limit on all vehicles of 2.10m (7 ft).

Return Greet Time Saver

Return Greet Time Saver by Airparks Newcastle service means you don't have to get a return transfer when you arrive back at Newcastle airport. Instead, Airparks will bring your car to the terminal for your collection.
