Newcastle Official On Airport Long Stay Parking
“ Great experience. Car park is close enough to walk to the airport or you can get the buses that run regular. It was easy to get both in and out of the car park.” - James Ross
This on-airport car park is only 300 yards from the airport and the transfer only takes 2 minutes. Transfers are on-demand. Lorries and trailers are not permitted. The car park has the coveted Park Mark award in recognition of its good security measures, which include regular security patrols (day and night), CCTV, entry and exit barriers, fencing and floodlighting. Extra-wide spaces for disabled drivers are available in Zone N.
Directions
The airport is 10 minutes from Newcastle city centre on the A696. Turn right at the roundabout into the airport complex (or left if you're coming along the A696 from the north), then take the first exit at the next roundabout and follow the signs for the long-term car park. If you're using a sat nav, the postcode is NE13 8BZ.
Arrival procedure
Please take a ticket at the entry barrier, then park your car and catch the bus to the terminal. Keep your ticket somewhere safe, as you'll need it when you come back.
Departure procedure
The shuttle bus will collect you from the pick-up point outside the front of the terminal and take you back to the car park. When you return to the car park, simply get in your car and drive to the barrier, then put your ticket into the barrier and it will let you out.
If you have any problems, please press the help button on the machine to talk to a member of staff.
Security
The car park has 24-hour CCTV, 24-hour security patrols, entry and exit barriers, a fence and floodlighting. It holds the Park Mark, a national security award for car parks which is accredited by the police.
Insurance
Use of the car park are subject to the prevailing Terms and Conditions which are available at the car park.
Disabled facilities
There are extra-wide spaces for disabled customers in Zone N.
Additional information
The car park does not accept lorries or trailers.
If you're delayed coming back, you'll need to pay for the extra parking at the car park's normal rate, which will be more expensive than the price you pay when you book with us - at the moment extra days cost £7.50 per day.
If you come back early, unfortunately we can't give you a refund for the time you've not used.
Long Stay + Express Drop Off - Saver
Customers with bookings for this package, should follow the following directions:
Please turn right at the roundabout into the airport complex (or left if you're coming along the A696 from the north), take the second exit at the next roundabout and follow the signs for the Express car park to drop off any passengers/luggage. Then drive to the long-term car park, following signs and park your car where it will stay whilst you’re away.
When you arrive at the Express car park, please pick a space and unload your bags and passengers(you'll have up to an hour to do this). You won't have to take a ticket when you enter as the barrier will read your number plate and lift automatically. The same will happen when you leave and you will not have to pay.
When you're ready, make the short drive to the Long Stay car park and follow the arrival procedure above.
Because this is a special offer, you cannot cancel or make any changes to your booking once it's made.
Premium Long Stay
A very convenient option as the Premium Long Stay car park is only 300 yards from the terminal.
Drive to the car park - driving directions and a postcode for your satnav will be on your booking confirmation. Take a ticket at the barrier, then follow signs to the Premium Long Stay area. Park in any space and keep your keys.
From there, it's only a short walk to the terminal, around 3-5 mins.
On your return, walk back to the car park and collect your car. Drive to the barrier, insert your ticket and drive home.
Arrived on rainy day, :( Unfortunately when you are on your own with a small child the bad weather makes things more difficult. Spaces between the white lines are very narrow so had to pull out into the middle of the rd to open the doors wide enough to remove the young one from his baby seat and put him in his buggie. Then I had to unload all the luggage onto the road before reversing the car back into its space. (While still pouring with rain). The nearest shelter was quite a distance to carry all the luggage and push the buggie. When I finally got to the shelter it was so small I couldn't gain access as it was over crowded, so stood in the rain with a few others with the little one and all the luggage. Next time will leave the car at the hotel and call a taxi regardless of the weather.

Many thanks to Sean in the parking office on Friday night for helping us find our car. We had forgotten to check which one we were in when parking the previous week. Thanks again for all your help!

Would have been a five star only for the racist bus driver who seemingly did not like the Scots according to him and a passenger the airport will be a lot quieter when the Scots all go home along with other derogatory comments surely he should be thankful there are plenty of Scots flying from Newcastle to keep this guy in a job
