Transfers are available on request and are included in the price. The shuttle runs when needed and takes 5 minutes.
Directions
From the A78 continue forward (signposted Barassie, Loans). At Meadowhead Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A78 (signposted Ayr, Prestwick Airport). At Monktonhill Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A79 signposted Prestwick Airport. Continue forward on the A79 entering the airport and follow signs for Car Park 4.
Arrival procedure
On arrival, please drive up to the entry barrier and your registration will be recognised. The barrier will lift automatically, but if there are any issues press the intercom button for assistance. Please make sure you don't take a ticket from the barrier as you will be charged again for your parking.
You can park in any space and keep your keys before you catch the shuttle to the terminal.
Departure procedure
On your return, please catch the shuttle back to the car park where you were dropped off. Then drive to the exit barrier and it will lift automatically.
If you have stayed later than your booked date, you will need to pay for any additional time at the machine located by the exit barrier.
Security
The car park has CCTV, entry and exit barriers and is patrolled regularly by staff.
Disabled facilities
The car park is within walking distance to the terminal so suitable for customers with mobility issues. There are disabled bays, which work on a first come first served basis.
Additional information
The car park has no height restrictions, but your vehicle must fit within a standard parking space.
The car park is on the airport grounds and you park your car yourself so you can keep your keys.
Please bring your booking reference with you and make sure you have provided your correct vehicle registration or you may be refused entry on arrival.

Car Park 3 at Prestwick Airport, very conventient indeed, a short walk from the car park to the rail station and then across the bridge directly into the airport terminal, very convenient for me, would have liked some assistance with luggage, trolley or cart etc otherwise very convenient and I will use again.

We were upgraded from Car Park 4 to 3. Car Park No. 3 was within walking distance and easily accessable.
However booking instructions did not indicate procedures required to enter nor leave car park. Neither was any indication regrding bus transport to terminal. At 4.00am this was not helpful!
Overall good, but clearer instructions at time of booking would be most helpful.

We originally booked Car Park 4 for each visit. This was done by internet, at what we considered to be a very reasonable price.
When we arrived on 18 Feb. for our first visit, I could not find Car Park 4 and when I checked at the desk in the airport I was told it had been closed for some time and that I should use Car Park 3. The attendant at the desk said he could not understand why Car Park 4 was still being sold on the internet, as it had been closed for sometime. However, I could not fault Car Park 3 which was extremely convenient.
On our second visit(also booked for Car Park 4) I confirmed with the airport attendant that I should again use Car Park 3, which again was excellent.
It may well be that Car Park 3 was more expensive than Car Park 4 being nearer to the airport, but for us it was excellent value for money and I had no worries about the car.
