Arrival procedure

Please check your email confirmation for details.

On arrival, please go to the blue car park and drive to the barrier. Your number plate should be recognised but if not, please press the assistance button and you'll be issued with a ticket. Once the barrier has risen, drive through and park in any available space making a note of the zone and row, then take the short walk to the terminal.

If you have any problems, please press the help button to talk to the car park’s team, but don't push the ticket button or you may be charged again.

Return procedure

Please check your email confirmation for details.

On your return, please drive up to the exit barrier. If your number plate was recognised on the way in, the barrier will rise automatically on your way out. If you were issued a ticket on your arrival, insert it into the machine next to the barrier, which will raise to let you out.

If you have any problems, please press the help button to talk to the car park’s team. Make sure you do not insert your credit or debit card as you may be charged again.

Security

The car park has 24-hour CCTV, lighting, and is regularly patrolled by staff. It has been given the Park Mark award.

Disabled facilities

There are blue badge spaces which work on a first come, first served basis. You'll need to display your badge while you're away.

Additional information

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).

While the prices are cheaper than those you'd pay at the airport, the shortest time they can offer parking for is 24 hours. If you're parking at the car park for less time, it may be significantly cheaper to pay when you arrive. The car park can't offer you a refund if you book online for less than 24 hours and find the price at the car park is less.

The car park offers a grace period of 6 hours at their discretion; any longer than this and you’ll be charged the car park’s standard rate of £45.50 (subject to change).

Hard to find a space to park, signage to Terminal is way out making the walk far longer than necessary, no bus arrived, nd to walk a long, long, long way in freezing conditions. On return had the same long walk but without the unnecessary route around the car park as signage advises. Awful.....better to use mid-term and get the bus.....although that has been abroad for us in the past too. I advise, get a taxi to and from airportif you can afford it. This place is a bloody nightmare.

I arrived at Stansted Blue short stay after midnight in freezing conditions. I had discarded my record of the booking number as the ticket said on return barrier would open automatically as I had prepaid. It did not. I booked on airport parking as I had an important day at work and wanted to get home as early as possible as it was a late evening flight. The staff were atrocious, telling me I had to pay £184 or they would not let me out. This now was early hours, very cold and understandably I was upset. They told me to 'calm down' and nothing could be done. I would have to pay the 'ransome' there and then or they would not let me out. I would question the legality let alone the humanity of this. They said the manger agreed and when I asked about complaints they said google it. This was their error, not mine! I spoke today to a colleague who had had a similar experience. I finally got home much later than expected and consequently was exhausted for work. I complained (of course) and got a standard reply saying if it happens again i should call for assistance. Grrrr! They hadn't even read the complaint!

Very happy, 7 minutes from the terminal, no complications at all, no transfers, no waste of time. Used it couple of times already and will use it again.
